Volunteer Guides (non-musicians) escort Volunteer Musicians room to room as they play music for patients, families and caregivers in healthcare environments. The Volunteer Guide acts as the "eyes and ears" during the MOC Bedside shift and is the liaison between the hospital, patient, and the Volunteer Musician. Volunteer Guides are critical to the success of MOC Bedside and get to experience the healing power of music firsthand without having to be a musician themselves!
