Mentors may choose between school-based, residential, or community-based mentoring with matches available in Baltimore City, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, and Harford Counties. Mentors make at least a one-year commitment, visit their assigned child once a week, and receive special training prior to the match.  Ongoing support, resources, additional training and guidance by staff are provided throughout the match. Together, mentors and mentees learn new things and have fun!! You can easily start the process to become a mentor by completing an application in our Volunteer and Intern Hub.
