Who We Are
Mission: To serve and protect the North Point Peninsula and surrounding areas by providing essential fire, rescue, and emergency medical services.
We are a volunteer fire station located in Edgemere, Maryland. Established on March 15, 1935, by 15 dedicated citizens, the North Point-Edgemere Volunteer Fire Department (NPEVFD) has been steadfast in protecting the North Point Peninsula and surrounding areas for nearly a century. Today, with a dedicated team of 80 members, NPEVFD continues to provide essential services, including firefighting, emergency medical services, heavy rescue, and marine fire and rescue.
What We Do
The North Point-Edgemere Volunteer Fire Department (NPEVFD) is dedicated to protecting lives and property. In addition to providing emergency services, we proudly support our community by hosting and participating in events such as the annual carnival, Santa tours, and holiday celebrations. Through our dual focus on emergency services and community engagement, NPEVFD serves as a vital resource and a source of pride for the North Point Peninsula and surrounding areas.
