Who We Are
Mission: To work toward ending the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals by providing affordable spay, neuter, and wellness services.
The Baltimore Humane Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing compassionate care to animals in need. Located in Reisterstown, Maryland, the society operates a no-kill shelter and offers a variety of services to support both animals and their communities. These services include pet adoption, spay/neuter programs, and animal wellness clinics.
What We Do
The society works to reduce pet overpopulation and the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals through education, advocacy, and accessible services. It also provides a range of pet care resources to the public, such as low-cost veterinary services, in an effort to promote responsible pet ownership and improve the lives of both pets and their families.
In addition to its shelter and care programs, the Baltimore Humane Society engages in various community outreach efforts, including educational initiatives and partnerships with other organizations to support animal welfare.
