HARBEL Community Organization

HARBEL is a caring, multi-purpose organization dedicated to building and supporting communities through service, advocacy, and empowerment. For over 50 years, we have been a pillar of strength in Northeast Baltimore, with our work centered around three core pillars: housing, prevention and recovery, and community services. As we approach 55 years of service, our mission is more important than ever. HARBEL remains committed to expanding opportunities, strengthening neighborhoods, and uplifting individuals and families in need. We deeply appreciate the continued support from our communities, vendors, partners, and stakeholders, whose dedication makes our work possible. Together, we will continue making a lasting impact.

HARBEL is a community organization that services Northeast Baltimore, i.e. prevention/recovery, housing(1st time buyers), community programs, and food pantry.
