Who We Are

Drive Smart Maryland is a program of traffic safety non-profit Drive Smart Virginia. Drive Smart Virginia’s mission is to raise traffic safety awareness among all road users in order to save lives and reduce injuries on the roadways. This mission is advanced by fostering community partnerships, offering interactive simulator programs, attending outreach events, advocating for traffic safety initiatives, and conducting an annual Distracted Driving Summit.

What We Do

Drive Smart Maryland offers free traffic safety programs to schools and communities. We currently offer our mobile Safety Town (volunteers needed), Jr. Speed Busters and Young Drivers Program.
