White Oak Strong

We run hands-on community programs including neighborhood cleanups, community garden and composting projects, and environmental education workshops for K-12 students. We offer Student Service Learning (SSL) opportunities where students participate in real community projects, hands-on cleanups, garden work, and sustainability workshops, paired with reflection components that fulfill Maryland's SSL requirements.

White Oak Strong is a Baltimore-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on environmental justice and community sustainability. We work with neighborhoods across Maryland to revitalize underutilized spaces, expand environmental education, and create pathways to green careers.
