So What Else Baltimore has opened a resource center in Southwest Baltimore to help provide community members with clothing, toys, shoes, furniture, food and more! We are looking for committed volunteers to help us sort, clean, organize and put away these items so that we may continue providing for families in need.
Days Volunteers are needed: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays
9:00 am to 12:00 pm: Volunteers will assist with sorting and organizing donations, cleaning where needed, lifting and moving boxes and bags, cleaning donated items, and moving items between rooms.
Volunteers: (1)Be 10 years or older, Children above 10 can participate as long as their parent/guardian accompanies anyone under 15, (2) Have the ability to lift large and / or bulky items, (3) Wear closed toed shoes at all times, (4) Adhere to all safety protocols, and (5) Be excited about serving the Southwest Baltimore Community!
Preferred but not required: An interest in sustainability, community service or ending poverty, experience working in Southwest Baltimore, interest in volunteering regularly.
