Superhero Cosplayers/Costumers for Causes

Description

Our Cosplayers, or "Causeplayers," are anyone wearing a superhero costume during SSI missions.

They must:

- Only wear and use SSI approved cosplay/accessories that they provide

- Maintain cosplay/character integrity by staying in character and keeping their identity secret

- Interact appropriately with your teammates and the children/families/nonprofits that we support

- Represent SSI positively in all interactions

- Follow safety protocols, including social distancing when required

- Adhere to SSI/HIPAA privacy and confidentiality standards

- Attend at least 4 events per year

	Is Outdoors
	Inclement Weather Plan: We notify volunteers via text at least 2 hours ahead of time when an event is canceled due to inclement weather or other issue. We cancel any outdoor event when a situation threatens our volunteers' heath/safety or the condition of our costumes.
	Need your own transportation to and from each event
	Attend at least 4 events per year
	Pay for your initial criminal background check (approximately ($22)
	Have access to social media, especially Facebook
	Use own cell phone to receive and respond to texts
	Provide and maintain your own costumes and accessories
