Looking to bond with students, and make a difference in your community?
Affordable Homes & Communities hosts a free Afterschool Program at Greenspring Overlook, located at 2406 Loyola Northway. Volunteers work with small groups or one-on-one with elementary school students on literacy and social-emotional learning. You will help with homework, basic math, play games, read with, and build relationships with the students.
The volunteer shifts are Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, 4:30-5:30pm. Volunteers serve one hour, weekly.
It is a very meaningful experience, and a ton of fun for students and volunteers alike!
