Looking to continue to bond with students, and make a difference in your community?
Affordable Homes & Communities hosts a free Afterschool Program at Greenspring Overlook, located at 2406 Loyola Northway. Volunteers work with small groups or one-on-one with elementary school students on literacy and social-emotional learning. You will help with homework, basic math, play games, read, and build relationships with the students. We could really use some support from volunteers with experience as educators, and that's why we need you!
The volunteer shifts are Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, 4:30-5:30pm. Volunteers serve one hour, weekly.
It is a very meaningful experience, and a ton of fun for students and volunteers alike!
