Calling all teens! AHC is seeking energetic, outgoing, responsible volunteers to help out at SUMMER CAMP 2026!
Affordable Homes & Communities (AHC), an affordable housing provider with holistic resident services, will be holding fun, enriching, educational summer camps for elementary school students. We rely on volunteers, who are mostly high school students, to sustain our programs. Volunteers will assist staff with outdoor activities, indoor educational lessons, snack time, field trips, pool days and more. Volunteers will be able to read, play, and build relationships with students, and can develop and lead activities. Volunteers must be age 14+.
Camp runs Monday - Thursday. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday is 9:30am-2:30pm. Thursday is a slightly longer day, 9:30am-4:30pm. Camp runs for 5 weeks, from July 6th through August 6th.
A volunteer shift is ONE WEEK (Monday-Thursday). Volunteers may serve for 1-5 weeks throughout the summer. One week of volunteering completes 22 service hours!
