CASA of Baltimore County empowers foster youth by assigning dedicated volunteers to advocate for their needs and well-being. Volunteers are trained, sworn in by the courts, and work one-on-one with children to ensure they receive essential services and support. Research shows that children with CASA advocates perform better in school, are less likely to re-enter the foster care system, and gain the tools to lead successful adult lives.
Our program supports volunteers from all walks of life through a 30-hour training program and ongoing supervision. With a monthly time commitment of 5-10 hours, volunteers make a life-changing impact by providing consistency and hope to foster youth in our community.
