Role Overview
The Social Media Manager is a creative volunteer who supports Evolve Community Foundation, Inc. (ECFINC) by managing and enhancing the organization’s social media presence. This role helps amplify ECFINC’s mission, programs, and community impact through thoughtful, engaging, and responsible digital storytelling.
The Social Media Manager works collaboratively with ECFINC leadership and program staff and does not engage in direct or unsupervised youth supervision.
Roles & Responsibilities

Assist with planning, creating, and scheduling social media content

Promote programs, events, volunteer opportunities, and community impact stories

Help maintain consistent branding, tone, and messaging aligned with ECFINC’s mission

Monitor engagement, comments, and messages and flag items for staff review

Support basic analytics tracking (reach, engagement, growth) to inform strategy

Ensure all content follows ECFINC policies, youth privacy standards, and ethical guidelines

Collaborate with staff to highlight partnerships, milestones, and successes
Qualifications & Expectations

Interest or experience in social media management, marketing, or communications

Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, or similar

Strong written communication skills and attention to detail

Creativity, reliability, and the ability to meet posting schedules

Willingness to receive guidance and feedback from ECFINC staff
Governance & Compliance

This role does not involve direct or unsupervised contact with youth

Must adhere to ECFINC branding, confidentiality, and youth privacy policies

Background check may be required in accordance with Baltimore County and organizational policy
