Are you looking for a rewarding way to connect with and empower young people in Baltimore? Sisters Circle is matching 7th-grade girls with mentors who will be a consistent presence in their lives through high school.
Becoming a mentor isn't just about giving back – it's a transformative experience for you too! Mentors develop patience, empathy, and cultural competence, rediscovering joy and playfulness often lost in adult life. In fact: 76% of mentors report improved self-esteem and a stronger sense of purpose. 90% of alumni mentors say their mentee made more impact on their life than they did on their mentee’s.
We're looking for mentors who are established in their lives and/or careers.
As a Sisters Circle mentor, you will:
- - Meet with your mentee twice a month.
- - Attend Sisters Circle events together.
- - Introduce her to new experiences and opportunities.
- - Support her in developing a post-secondary education plan.
- - Receive ongoing guidance and support from our dedicated team.
