There Goes My Hero is hosting a bone marrow registry drive at the Tony Rose Foundation Basketball Tournament to add potential bone marrow/stem cell donors onto the bone marrow donor registry to increase blood cancer patients' chances of finding a match. Volunteers play a crucial role at drives like this one because they help us educate passerby on the importance of joining the registry and facilitate the swabbing process.
This event takes place on Saturday, April 13th, from 1:30pm-5pm. Volunteers do not have to volunteer for the entirety of the event, but are encouraged to volunteer for at least 1.5 hours.
